Klover Smart Pellet Boiler Cooker This sophisticated pellet boiler will run your central heating and provide all of your hot water. It also has the added bonus of a sealed oven and cast-iron hotplate which quickly heat up whenever the stove fires up to provide heating or hot water. The Smart 120 is fully automated and comfortably outputs 17.5kW to water. Its internal hopper holds 32 kilos of pellets, which are automatically fed into the fire chamber as fuel is required, and the fuel is burned at over 90% efficiency. This means you are burning an almost carbon-neutral fuel as well as gaining considerable savings compared with oil or gas. The Smart 120 is finished in brushed stainless steel as well as the British Traditional enamel version, designed to replace the Aga or Rayburn in the British country kitchen.

Klover Utility Pellet Boiler Once again Klover have produced a high quality and great value pellet boiler, suitable for larger homes. Walltherm Zebru Log Gasification Stove The Walltherm is a simple and elegant stove with a build quality second to none. Its secret lies in using log-gasification reverse-flame combustion technology, but adapted to a domestic stove.

Here’s how it works… The stove has two combustion chambers. The fire is lit in the upper chamber and produces wood gas while burning. This hot gas is pulled down through combustion jets, where it is mixed with a secondary air supply. In the lower chamber, the gas ignites and creates a second flame that generates up to 1000ºC. This burns cleanly and efficiently. The hot exhaust gases then run up through the heat exchanger, which is designed to absorb the highest amount of heat possible. Impressively, by the time the gases reach the chimney, the temperature will be less than 130°C and the house will be warm, the domestic water hot, and the thermal store heating up nicely. As well as achieving record-breaking efficiency, and a low level of emissions, the Walltherm’s double windows provide a visual treat like no other stove. The glowing log fire can be viewed through a large double-glazed panel in the main door, while the lower window shows the gasification chamber, where spectacular super-hot flames pour down through the fire-bed slot and curl round to enter the heat exchanger tubes at the rear.

KWB Classicfire Log Gasification Boiler This range is highly efficient and has a minimal ash output,  and they can heat 3 bed houses up to country mansions. They can take logs up to 550mm long. They must be installed with an appropriately sized accumulator tank / thermal store  to obtain maximum working efficiency.  Using the latest downdraft technology, this gasification boiler burns all the gasses produced during the normal burning process, therefore allowing minimal CO2 to be released into the atmosphere. The secondary burning chamber burns gasses at up to 1200 degrees centigrade. Regulated by a digital display panel which controls the fan, this enables the boiler to be 92% efficient. Energy Store Thermal Store A thermal store also acts as a buffer, supplying an instant source of heat whilst your boiler biomass boiler comes up to temperature, and can also provide an extra source of heat for periods of high demand which may allow you to provide all the heat that a property needs from a boiler which would otherwise be too small. A thermal store is a must for most log burner, however the pellet boiler range is fine to be integrated into any existing system as they run in a very controllable fashion similar to a typical gas or oil boiler, unlike log burners which are batch burners and comparatively less controllable.
